Holiday In Japan For The First Time! (1.6.2015-7.6.2015) Part 2

Day 4 (4.6.2015)

Despite a whole night rest, my leg was still in pain. But what to do, I'm on a holiday. We woke up early to board the bus to Mt.Fuji. But after waiting for an hour, my mum called up the tour agency and one of the receptionist told us that the bus wouldn't be coming due to the number of traveller. This doesn't make sense, why can't she inform us earlier? Without wasting any time, we boarded the hotel shuttle bus to Hammamatsucho Station to look for a tour.

We went to the counter of the Sunrise Tours to ask if we could still join any of the available tours. Fortunately, we still could join the Tokyo Afternoon Tour which is scheduled at 1.30 PM on Day 3 and Mt.Fuji & Hakone 1 Day Tour on Day 4. Since it was only 10AM, we decided to walk to Ginza since we didn't manage to reach there on Day 2.

To our suprise, there was a Uniqlo and even a GU in Ginza. We had a brief shopping in Uniqlo before heading to a restaurant near Uniqlo to have our lunch as time was crucial. The price of the food in Ginza is costly compare to those around the city centre.

After having lunch, we walked back to the station to begin our tour. The 1st destination was the Tokyo World Trade Center Observatory Deck located on the highest floor of the World Trade Center.

We could see the whole Tokyo from the observatory deck.

Our next stop was the Imperial Palace Gardens. It was just a brief destination so I didn't really took any photos about this place.

Imperial Palace Gardens

The 3rd destination we visited on Day 3 was Sensō-ji Temple In Asakusa. It's the oldest temple in Tokyo. It was crowded during that hour.

The tour ended with a river cruise along Sumida River. During the cruise, we get to know the names of each and every bridges we passed by.

The tour ended in Tokyo Station. We walked to Ginza to continue our shopping which is 1.5 KM away from Tokyo Station. Finally we got a chance to shop without time worries in Uniqlo!

Soon, our stomach was rumbling. We went to a unique restaurant that patrons would enjoy their meal while standing. Yup, that rights, it's the Standing Sushi Bar. Price was resonable and food was fresh.

We went back to our hotel and went straight up to the Prince Park Tower Sky Bar, which is located on the 33rd floor of the hotel. We enjoyed our drinks and finger food while enjoying the view of Tokyo City.

We went back to our hotel room at 10 PM . We rest early as tomorrow was the Mt.Fuji & Hakone 1 Day Tour.

Day 5 (5.6.15)

We didn't have much time to eat breakfast as the tour bus bringing us to Hamatmasucho Station would arrive at our hotel around 8 AM so the night before we bought some breads and instant noodles for today's breakfast.

We started our journey around 9 AM in Hamamatsucho Station and stop at a rest area after a 1 hour drive. We manage to go to the toilet and brought some finger foods and drinks. Soon, we continued our journey and arrive at Mt.Fuji 5th Station at 11 AM. The temperature was 7 celcius and we didn't prepare any jackets so we felt a little cold.

We took quite a number of photos. We enjoyed the cold weather on the hill. We went to a souvenir located on the hill to buy some souvenirs. Without realising, it's time for us to leave Mt.Fuji. Upon leaving the mountain, we stop at a nearby resort to have our lunch.

The restaurant in the resort was very cosy and we get to drink unlimited green tea and english breakfast tea. The chicken was decent but the fish was dissapointing. Obviously the fish was not fresh.

After finishing the meal, we continued our journey to Hakone, which is 1 and a half hour from the resort. Hakone was also cooling, which I pretty like it. We went on the pirate ship cruise as the cable car was not in service since the volcanic eruption happened.

The bus dropped us off at Odawara Station. The thing I had looking forward since the beginning of this tour was the Shinkansen Bullet Train ride from Odawara Station to Tokyo Station.

We reached Tokyo Station at 5.40 PM. We took another train to Hamamatsucho Station. Unfortunately, it was raining cats and dogs. Without having any choice, we ran to a Japanese restaurant to have dinner. We wanted to try this restaurant since the first day arriving in Japan but didn't have enough time. Food was delicious but we have difficulties breathing as everyone was smoking in an enclosed area.

We went back to the hotel when the rain was not so heavy any more. We prepared ourself for tomorrow's leaving. Our flight back to Hong Kong was scheduled to depart at 4.40 PM, so we still have time to buy some souvenirs and Japanese food tomorrow.

Day 6 (6.6.2015)

As usual, we woke up and went to Hamamatsucho Station to have our breakfast. We ate some simple Japanese food as this would be our last meal here in Japan.

We bought some souvenirs and some cookies to bring back to Malaysia. We even bought my favourite seaweed :) . We went back to our hotel and checked-out.

After checking out, there was still time for us to mingle around. We went to the park which is located around the hotel. We also visited a temple nearby.

Soon, it was time for us to head to the airport.

It was soon time to say goodbye to Japan. Goodbye Japan! We took off at 4.45 PM and reached Hong Kong at night time. We slept eary as tomorrow flight back to KL was at 8.40 AM.

Day 7 (7.6.2015)

We woke up and packed our stuff. Soon, we took a taxi to Hong Kong International Airport. We checked-in and boarded the plane at 8.20 AM. It take off at 8.45 AM.

I was seated at seat 30C, which is a Premium Economy Seat. The Stereo Noise Cancelling Headphones was awesome.

Soon after 3 hours of flight time, it was time to descend into Kuala Lumpur International Airport. We pass trough the immigration and claimed our luggage bag at the baggage recliam area. We walked to the car park and paid the parking fees. We soon leave the airport.

So this is my experience in Japan. I hope everyone enjoyed it. Sorry for any spelling or language errors. Thank you for spending time to read it although it is pretty long though. I hope to write more in the future :D
